Introducing myself and my journal: social worker



About Me:
I am Kenyan woman holding a certificate in Nurse Aide with Makupa Maternity & Nursing Home and a Diploma in social work with the Inter world college for cultural Exchange &Tourism ,I have skills in various training as named ,Initial Peer Education , Advance peer Educating , Training of Trainers and Master Trainer. I have also gained skills in HIV counseling & Testing through the Ministry of Health Trainings as a PITC (Provider Initiated HIV Testing & Counseling ) and am also pursuing a Diploma course in Addiction Counseling with SAPTA(Support for Addiction Prevention &Treatment in Africa) as well as attending vocational classes on Traumatology & stabilization skills with EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization &Reprocessing ) targeting the young person ages 5-20yrs .
Am a master Trainer of trainers , with the skill have gained i apply it to community since i have a passion to a healthy community by empowering the young women, youths of both gender in improving on thier livlihood and reproductive health including their education and exploring of their talents .



My Passions:
Empowering young woment and the young in the host community for better and healthier community.



My Challenges:
Getting support e.g like when dealing with youth in drugs(IDU'S) AND THEY NEED TO BE TAKEN TO THE REHABILITATION FOR CONSITANCE COUNSELLING



My Vision for the Future:
Doing more proposal to secure the funds to support the youths joining the rehabs



My Areas of Expertise:
Training on health issues, organizing of the outreaches and facilitation of the health talks and impacting of income generation skills on cusion
