Introducing myself and my journal: Stories of Women from the Streets of San Francisco

About Me:
I am the Clinical Director of SAGE a non profit organization that is committed to addressing trauma in women who have survived abuse. I am utilizing EMDR a modality that addresses trauma through the nervous system. EMDR has been shown to be effective for PTSD in a quick and culturally adaptable way. I spent my training working with traumatized women from Cambodia. In addition to EMDR we have acupuncture, yoga, somatic therapy, art therapy and good food. SAGE is also working with trafficking victims domestically as well as internationally. My commitment is to bring EMDR to women that are suffering the effects of trauma and to train as many people inside their own culture to bring about positive change through mental health and economic freedom. I welcome partners who are involved in similar projects..

My Passions:
Healing suffering and dancing all the time.
