Introducing myself and my journal: the adventure

About Me:
i am a 33 yr old Nigerian female Journalist who recently relocated to Accra(without any formal permission from my organization).Figure, i can do my job here as well. Life for an African is tough but it is tougher for a stubborn, self -opinionated, unconventional and marriage-defying, not to mention poor Nigerian female. I have always been hard to figure out but i know that life has more to offer to me than to be stuck in a cage(of being married and living a boring life of satisfying everybody else but yourself). i want to be free to express myself and bring all my innate talents to the fore in order to better my immediate and larger environment.

My Passions:
i love being creative and using that creativity to improve myself and my environment

My Challenges:
i am stuck in a world that is satisfied with doing things the way there have always been done.

My Vision for the Future:
i know that the world would be a nicer place if only we could stop wanting to be like others. i believe in empowering people to live their best lives and i intend to do that through motivating others.

My Areas of Expertise:
i have a very imaginative mind. i can relate with young people and can identify with their struggles. i can get into the psyche of most individuals this helps me understand why they take certain actions.
