Introducing myself and my journal: The Doors of Perception

About Me:
Hello! My name is Eileen but people close to me call me Candy. I've developed a passion for writing and even more so if what I'm writing has a purpose. I'm currently a soon-to-be 3rd year college student majoring in Journalism. I wish to help my community, country, and fellow women by bringing light to the truth. I live in the Philippines in a tiny little city called Cagayan de Oro city.

Aside from writing stories I also love capturing moments of serendipity through my camera. There's something magical about capturing a moment and keeping it forever. I love discovering new things and seeing the world I live in through my camera lens. I want to discover things, people, and events that I'd probably never notice with my naked eye.

So I guess those are the two things that I love doing - writing and mastering the art of capturing moments. The rest is me living a teenage life in a developing country. I have high hopes and dreams for my country to rise and I want to help through this. It's not only my country but other developing countries too.
