Introducing myself and my journal: their stories are mine



About Me:
Sudanese wife and mother of four, Psychiatrist,human rights activist and columnist. working with ministry of health -Sudan and many organizations regarding child rights and women rights.writing for the last three years in different sudanese news papers,started at Alsudani news paper,Ajrass Alhurria,Alahdath,and for the last one and a have year stablished at Ajrass alhurria editing full page in gende issues in the name of:their stories are mine..
vice presedent of Sudanese writers Union 2008-2009.
poetess and novalist.
Speakers in different tvs and radio programms inside and out side Sudan.
different scientific papers :in Islam and gender issues,sexuality,citizenship and diversity.
working with Save the children -Sudan in fighting against corporal punishment in schools for the last three years ,helding workshops in different localities, all arond Sudan and we are about to puplish a manual in alternatives of corporal punishment. also working with the same organization in order to train the youth in :how to engage young men and boys in elemination of gender base violence.
recently iam the media officer in Sudanese Doctors commitee that fighting to improve the health services in Sudan ,against fundamentalist ,totalitarian government so chased and threatend several times till i went into hunger strike in a famous late Sudanese political leader and presedent .
i want to stay in my country and fight for change, through any peacful means.
my areas of interrest are,children,women,minorities,education,and environment.
my origional language is arabic ,i can understand and read english very wel with some difficulties to express my self fluently in english words in speaking or writing.but i found this opportunity as golden chance to develope my self and comunicate with others and train my voice to tell my stories..



My Passions:
developing school education,empowering women,and protecting the environment



My Challenges:
to reach the people in the grassroots,



My Vision for the Future:
the future starts now and we are able to make it promising ,almost we are not able to see the harvest that we had implanted but sure our grand daughters will!
