Introducing myself and my journal: To whom much is given much is required

About Me:
I appreciate the many opportunities I have been given and I want to give back to the country and community that has made me the woman I am today. I love to have a good laugh and enjoy regular intense knitting sessions as a way to relax and relieve stress. I love being creative and innovative, and am keen about using social innovation in sustainable developement practice, sometimes I have more ideas than I know what to do with...
I have a heart for young women, I think there are many young women who are just not getting the chance to realise their dreams because of circumstances beyond their control - this frustrates me, therefore I want to use my talents, skills and experience to make a difference in this area.

My Passions:
Encouraging and empowering girls to achieve their potential

My Challenges:
Limited resources - time and money - to accomplish all I want to do

My Vision for the Future:
A community of young women who are confident of their value and significance as human beings and who are impacting their world with their unique talents and abilities

My Areas of Expertise:
Events and project management; Finance; Fundraising; Creativity; Coaching and Capacity Building; Performing Arts
