About Me: I have been a journalist for a dozen years, and will likely be for another. My passion is for investigative reporting but my staple news beat has been everything from crime to Latino affairs and a smattering in between. Since age 18 I have been involved in philanthropic efforts in one form or another, from building homes in Mexico to furthering the efforts of women in Uganda. The most significant thing both professional and person experiences have taught me is that nothing is impossible.
