Introducing myself and my journal: Voice from South Asia



About Me:
I am a social activist in the Maldives. Presently I am studying for my PhD in Human Rights and Peace Studies. I am in the process of writing my doctorate thesis on Maldivian women's participation in economic and polical development of the country. I am the chairperson of a local NGO, Care Society and also doing consultancy work to Maldives NGO Federation. In addition to this, I am also the Chairperson to the South Asia Network on Women's Rights in disasters represented by five South Asian countries.
