About Me:
Gaspard lives in Bo, Sierra Leone with his wife and 4 children. He speaks and writes English, Creole and Mende. Gaspard was born on 23/03/1956 in Jojoima, Eastern Sierra , West Africa. His father was a Liberian and mother a Sierra Leonean.
Gaspard had been the Association for Peoples Empowerment (APEM ) Executive Director & Development Education Programme Manager since 1996. Gaspard holds a Diploma in Development Studies from the Selly Oaks Colleges in Birmingham (UK) and a Certificate of Merit in Middle Management from IPAM in Freetown. Gaspard has travelled extensively and has worked for 18 years in Africa. He was the Development Secretary of the Anglican Diocese of Bo in Sierra Leone for 9 years. in 1970, Gaspard was one of the founding members of the African Development Education Network in Zimbabwe.
My Passions:
Achievement of social justice for the poor and disadvantaged.
My Challenges:
Development of the needed capacity to work with the poor in the villages
My Vision for the Future:
Better living standards for all Sierra Leoneans and Liberians.
My Areas of Expertise:
Community animation and facilitation of Empowerment education for the poor and deprived.
