Introducing myself and my journal: Women and the World

About Me:Hello! I am an undergraduate senior at the University of Oregon. I will graduate with my B.A. in General Social Sciences with a concentration in Crime, Law, and Society this June. I am interested in discussing intersectional feminism, human rights, and survivor support and prevention. I am also interested in discussing how art forms can be used for activism. I strongly believe in the power of the personal story.

My Passions:physical and sexual violence support and prevention, human rights, sociology, poetry, and photography

My Challenges:Facing fields of denial and opposition.

My Vision for the Future:A world that is hostile to none and respectful to all. A world that educates and supports survivors of all types of violence.

My Areas of Expertise:physical and sexual violence prevention and survivor support, sociology, feminism.
