Introducing myself and my journal: Women Economic Empowerment



About Me:
I am Violet Akurut Adome, in 2012 March, i was appointed by the President of the Republic of Uganda as Commissioner Uganda Human Rights Commission, besides that I am a Chairperson Katakwi Grassroots Women Development Initiative (KAWODI) a local Organization i co- founded in 2004. I am passionate about women economic empowerment and education as a tool for women Development. KAWODI is focused on economic empowerment for women, girl child education and human rights.



I want a Uganda that creates opportunities for women for national development of the country.



My Passions:
Women economic empowerment



My Challenges:
Financial resources to run some of the projects of the organisation



My Vision for the Future:
many women in leadership positions in the country
