Introducing myself and my journal: Women Empowerment



About Me:
My name is Phylis Mbeke, I am a Kenyan aged 27 years. Presently am working with Fortress of Hope Africa where I am a Co-founder and the Program Manager
FOHA is an adolescent girls’ organization Initiated to empower less fortunate and vulnerable adolescent girls in the community.
As a young woman, I am encouraged by the strength of women at the grass root level who are able to overcome their barriers and achieve their dreams.



As a women right activist, I work with grassroots women and girls in areas of health and empowerment. I organize ,lobby and advocate for gender equality and sensitivity on grassroots levels
Each day I strive to see a society which gives women equal platform to exercise for their social, political and economical rights.
