Introducing myself and my journal: Women Empowerment in India

About Me:
I am an HR professional with 9 years of total work experience of which 6 years is in Human Resources. I have worked with mutli national companies like Accenture, Google, Deloitte, Genpact, Indian School of Business and ONGC Petro additions Ltd.

In my last role at Accenture Services Pvt Ltd as a Recruitment Delivery Lead (Specialist) ,I was handling IT requirements for India Delivery Centre. I was leading scheduling, sourcing and recruiting teams to ensure monthly recruitment targets for all the clients were fulfilled. Also working on quality projects to improve process efficiency, team performance and renege management.

I left Accenture in Nov 2010 due to an injury and since then have been freelancing as a Recruitment professional with 2 consultancies. Prior to that, I was working with ONGC Petro additions Ltd. as a Deputy HR Manager handling of Manpower requirements, Recruitment, Employee Development, Training and General HR activities.

During my career, I have enriched HR experience with Deloitte as a HR Analyst for close to 2 years and Google for 3 years as a Recruiting Specialist. I handled various critical leadership positions along with exposure to staffing, training and people management. I worked on several projects and initiatives with general HR business partners based around employee engagement activities.

I am now looking at working full time doing something meaningful with my life not necessarily related to HR field but anything that adds value to me as a person as a woman..Hence I am excited on joining this wonderful community and looking forward to working on special projects, initiatives that I could contribute towards.
