I work as the vice president of GESR Center for Development (GCD), one of the main objectives for (GCD) are to empower Sudanese youth and to expand their media participation. This is clear on different activities implemented in the past by the center. Many workshops were implemented to sensitise the writers in the websites on human rights, Women rights, HIV/AIDS, new media and its mechanisms, writing skills, and professional standards of journalism. The center has also published 22 issues of the Youth Agenda which is a weekly newsletter edited by youth to present and analyze youth issues to be published on weekly basis. GESR Center is targeting on the Youth Agenda to expand the opportunities in media participation for youth and raising their sensitivity on human rights and gender issues as well as to build their capacities on journalist writing skills in the diffrent states in Sudan.
