It All Started With a Desire -My Journey to building a Virtual Assistant Business

Gold, sitting and smiling

"Sometimes, all you need is the courage to start even if nothing else is certain."

There was a time I sent out resumes, applied everywhere, and reached out to people yet nothing came back. No response. Just silence.

It was hard. I felt invisible. Unqualified. Not good enough.

But one thing didn’t leave me:

A strong desire to start.

So I did. Apart from volunteering and working with NGO's, I started working as a Virtual Assistant not because I had a grand plan, but because I wanted to help people and earn a living.

At first, I didn’t even consider it a business.

I just saw it as a way to survive.

But slowly, things began to shift.

I started learning. I started growing.

And eventually, I stopped seeing myself as “just a freelancer.”

I began to see myself as a business owner.

That shift in mindset? It changed everything.

I realized something powerful:

Sometimes, it’s not about having more money or more contacts

It’s about having a fresh perspective.

A desire to try, a willingness to grow, and the faith to keep going."Sometimes, all you need is the courage to start even if nothing else is certain."

I believe that when women have the right support, they build magic.

To every woman founder out here, I see your heart.

You’re building something important. Something valuable.

And sometimes what you need isn’t to “do more”

It’s to be surrounded by people who help you stay organized, focused, and consistent.

To every woman holding a quiet dream:

Look into the mirror this week and say:

💫 “It starts with a desire.

It grows with consistency.

It expands when systems are in place.

"And it blossoms when you treat it like the vision it truly is.”
