IT IS NOT MY CONCERN

There's a popular quote that says- "if you train a man, you train an individual, but if you train a woman, you train a nation".

These shows the level of responsibility we have been given. We are a gift to mankind, no knowledge brought within our reach should be swept under the carpet.

Why do we sit and watch things go wrong, simply because we feel- we are not in the position to make it right.

What is wrong in correcting a child? Why do we feel our opinion doesn't matter since the child is not mine? In the words of some others:

"I would have, or I will do something if he/she was my child or is my child. It is not my business. Really, are you being serious right now.

My dear fellow women, it is, and will continue to be our concern.

You don't need to give birth to a child before you know it is your duty to nurture/groom the child.

For instance, you see a child that lacks manner of approach, instead of cautioning the child, you prefer to gossip the child to others. What is wrong in correcting the child instantly; let the child know his/her fault lovingly.

A lot has gone wrong in our world, let us begin to correct errors made in the little way we can.

We don't need to be from a particular race, region, share similar beliefs/culture or political ties before we consider it our concern.

We are one, no matter the colour of our skin, political ideology, in as much as we live on this planet earth together. Let us learn to look out for one another and bring up Children we would be proud of.

This is my take on this. If you feel I'm wrong, please feel free to share your opinion. 😊
