Its great to be back at World Pulse after many years of absence. The last time I was here was when I had started Lifesong Kenya, an organization that seeks to empower boys and young men who are facing different life issues, challenges and crisis.
While I was away, I have ended up adding a Halfway House for boys to our work and mission. It is work that has left an impact in my life. Boys who are survivors of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment are often afraid to share their pain due to fear of stigma and being labeled as weak, helpless or not men enough.
As an individual who rubs shoulders with these boys, my heart beats with hope for a better future and outcome for each of the boys. Step by step and together, we will make it through and not only overcome this, but thrive.
