The reason for the season!

I've discovered true beauty and strength in God that I've found in no one else but find glimpses in the few and far between. I can't get over how excited I feel when I encounter Jesus in other followers who display these qualities. I'll tell you what they are, and they are in you and me too, if only we would see these as true beauty and strength from Jesus. Of course, love is paramount as a Christian. But it's more than that. It's deeper, wider, longer, higher. This is love, and I believe we all need to receive this from Jesus.

It's not the time, this season, to repent. It's the time to receive. To receive this gift from God, Jesus.

His qualities of love, like the many facets of a diamond, we need to see this facet in Jesus this Christmas:

1. Compassion - For weakness, for we are all weak, fragile and delicate beings before God.

2. Humility - a right view of ourselves in relation to God and others.

3. Gentleness/meekness - is in fact a strength 💪

4. Kindness - received from God to extend to others.

5. Sensitivity - to hear God's voice and see His face.

6. Tenderness - towards us and others.

7. Care and Interest - from God towards us in all aspects.

May we receive these qualities of Jesus love this Christmas. May God restore to us all the gift and joy of His salvation, by His mercy and grace. By wisdom and revelation, may we receive His truth, see His beauty and strength for the road ahead in 2025.
