I was reading this morning on the Reuters African News Blog about a call for submission for the 'FitzGerald Prize'. Thomson Reuters is offering a scholarship to do a post graduate BA hons degree at the University of The Witwatersrand ’s Journalism Programme in Johannesburg followed by a stint in a newsroom in Africa. I'm sure this platform may have more than a few people interested in applying. The announcement required interested candidates to '... submit a motivation letter, a CV, writing samples and at least 2 letters of nomination/reference by October 15, 2010  to fitzgeraldprize (at) thomsonreuters.com.
