LASOI WHO DARED TO DREAM

Subject: Submission: Lasoi – The Girl Who Dared to Dream by Judy W. Mwangi

Dear World Pulse Editorial Team,

I am honored to share my story, Lasoi: The Girl Who Dared to Dream, for your consideration. This piece was inspired by the countless young women in Kenya — and across the world — who dare to question tradition and choose their own path while still honoring where they come from.

Through Lasoi’s journey, I wanted to capture the quiet defiance of a girl raised in a culture rich with beauty and strength, yet bound by expectations. Her story mirrors the voices of many who are often silenced, reminding us that culture should be a guide, not a cage.

As a Kenyan storyteller and advocate for women’s empowerment, I write to celebrate resilience, identity, and the courage it takes to dream beyond boundaries. I hope Lasoi’s story will speak to others who are reclaiming their voices and redefining freedom on their own terms.

Thank you for the incredible platform you provide for women to tell their stories and connect through shared strength. I would be grateful for the opportunity to have my work featured on World Pulse.

Warm regards,

Judy W. Mwangi
