L'ELECTION D'UNE FEMME A LA TETE DE LA FRANCOPHONIE, UNE APPROCHE POSITIVE DE DEVELOPPEMENT

Nous venons de suivre avec grand intérêt l'élection de Madame Micael à l'Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF)constitue pour les Femmes une grande opportunité et une approche vers le Développement.
Lorsque la Femme a droit au chapître, sa présence au sommet d'une institution promeut le changement en faveur de toute l'humanité. Non seulement une opportunité d'un changement n'importe lequel, mais un changement positif, focalisé vers le développement de la jeunesse, celui des enfants y compris celui de tous les acteurs sociaux.
En notre qualité de femme congolaise de la République Démocratique du CONGO, nous saluons cette élection tout en souhaitant un fructueux mandat à notre consoeur Jean Micael à la tête de l'OIF.
Nous lui recommandons de renforcer la capacité de l'approche du "Genre " dans tous les Etats.
Enfin, la Paix et la Stabilité dans nos Etats africains reste la priorité en faveur de la promotion de toutes les femmes africaines et de leurs enfants.
Mais aussi, le respect des Droits et la Justice en faveur des femmes et de la Jeunesse demeurent des principales priorités qui peuvent aider les Etats à se développer.

A WOMAN IS ELECTED TO HEAD THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR FRANCOPHONE COUNTRIES [LA FRANCOPHONIE] – A POSITIVE STEP FOR DEVELOPMENT

We've followed Michaëlle Jean's election to the International Organization for Francophone Countries [OIF] with great interest. For women, this is an important opportunity and step for development.
When a woman heads an institution, she has a say and this promotes change that benefits all of humanity. This isn't just any kind of opportunity for change but an opportunity for positive change focused on youth and children's development that includes all social partners.
As Congolese women from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, we welcome this election and wish our colleague, Michaëlle Jean, a productive mandate as head of the OIF.
We ask her to strengthen capacities for addressing gender issues in all the countries.
Finally, peace and stability in our African countries remain a priority when it comes to advocating on behalf of all African women and their children.
But also, respect for justice and rights in support of women and youth is a priority when it comes to helping states to develop.
