Let's Give Hope to Haiti

The world is ailing, but we can give a little hope to heal the world.

Haiti is once again devastated by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in August. The death toll rises to nearly 2,000.

As a world explorer, I don't always go to the best and beautiful places to enjoy. Instead, I travel to witness life in other parts of the world, to see a different kind of beauty within. It's the beauty to acknowledge that other people are less fortunate, give some hope, and share a little blessing.

I remember one of my favorite quotes from the late Anthony Bourdain that says:

\"Travel isn't always pretty. It isn't always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts. It even breaks your heart. But that's okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.\"

My trip to Haiti in May 2019  broke my heart, and at the same time, it reminded me of a lesson to always count and share my blessings.

My heart goes out to the people of Haiti. If you want to give hope to Haiti, please check out this link.
