It is time for everyone to support women and girls face monthly periods with pride. There are several taboos associated with periods and it’s time to change them.
when I was growing up my grandmother would not let me use her mirror during my periods. I would receive scolding for having done it. This made me grow up knowing that during periods you are dirty and touching mirrors was wrong.
At the moment I am an advocate of supporting girls especially in the rural areas pride in periods and support them in accessing affordable hygienic sanitary materials .
