Letting The Pulse Love Flow.

\"Some
Some dear WorldPulse Sisters who answered RED during my just ended last colour awareness campaign for sickle cell awareness.

Colours and fashion have been used as powerful tools to champion causes and for the past few years, I found a way to incorporate colour and fashion into my now yearly campaign on sickle cell awareness...#BreakTheSilence ...#BeASickleCellVoice colour awareness campaign.

As more and more of the world gets digitalised, we as change makers have to find innovative, fun ways of creating positive impact.

This year was not different. With the novel Coronavirus 19 still holding the world in it's tight grip, it was even more so necessary to do all we could to use technology to the max.

Well, as June approached this year and I saw that a lot of my planned programs would be kept on hold, it became even more imperarive to make the most out of technology to keep this yearly campaign going.

And so, during one of our now cherished Thriving Thursdays calls, I made an appeal that ambassadors who can, could join me on World Sickle Cell Day June 19th to wear red for warriors and to help paint social media red and make the hastag trend.

Before then, many World Pulse sisters were already walking with me along the days and weeks leading to June 19th.

As it is the case yearly, more strong voices join my campaign. It was especially soulful to see so many of my dear WorldPulse family boldly answer RED, adding their amazing strong voices to the hundreds of other voices that came out in solidarity. From all the four corners of the earth, the pulse love could not be missed.

Thank you all for adding your strong voices and standing with me. It was a privilege to have you all keep the pulse love pulsating through technology at a time it is so needed in what is now my best campaign yet.

Thank you all beautiful amazing soul sisters and powerful change makers. Thank you for continuously changing the narrative, showing that in big or small ways, women are indeed their best uplifters.

Together, let's continue to #LetThePulseLoveFlow

With love and appreciation ❤
