Leveraging 21st Century Statecraft to Empower Women across the Globe

On November 10th, at the US Department of State, Alec Ross, Senior Advisor for Innovation in the Office of the Secretary of State, and Nicole Conn, Senior Public Affairs Advisor, Office of the Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues, will discuss how the State Department is using the tools of 21st Century Statecraft to improve the lives of citizens around the world.

As Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has said, “We need to work toward a world in which access to networks and information brings people closer together and expands the definition of the global community.” While it may not be possible to join these officials in discussing groundbreaking initiatives utilizing the tools of 21st Century Statecraft, including the recently announced mWomen Program, aiming to empower women through mobile technology, it is important to let these US representatives of US policy know about your feelings. Write to Secretary Clinton today.
