Je suis Marie Rose SHAKALILI coordinatrice de l'association ACTIONS DES FEMMES SOLIDAIRES POUR LES DROITS ET LE DEVELOPPEMENT en sigle AFeSoDD. Notre organisation oeuvre en faveur des femmes et jeunes filles en milieu rural, à plus de 245 Km de la ville de Bukavu. entant que coordinatrice j'accède à l'internet au centre MAMA SHUJAA et cela m'a aider à entrer en contact avec certaines personnes. J'ai réalisé une interview avec les femmes actives dans les mines grâce au contact que j'ai eu via Madame NEEMA .
personnellement l'accès à l'internet est d'importance capitale si on y met du sérieux.mais le défis qui guete encore les femmes c'est comment les femmes au niveau local peut elle accèder à l'internet.
Quand moi- même je fais une descente sur le terrain, je fais faire deux semaine sans me connecter.car la connexion coûte 3 fois cher qu'en ville.
le pouvoir d'achat des femmes au niveau local est faible et cela ne leur permette pas d'accèder à l'internet.
Pour palier à cette situation nous pensons et proposons l'installation de centre de formation à d'internet avec quelques en milieu rural.si ce centre devient opérationnel,cela va aider les femmes paysanne à entre en contact avec leurs consoeurs du monde entier et peuvent vendre leurs productions agicoles.

Internet in the service of rural women

I am Marie Rose Shakalili, coordinator of the association of Womens Solidarity Action for Women’s Rights and Development, the acronym is AfeSoDD. Our ogranization works on behalf of women and young girls in rural areas, more than 245km from the city of Bukavu. As a coordinator, I access the internet at the Mama Shujaa center, and it helps me to contact people. I conducted an interview with woemn working in the mines through contact I had through Madame Neema. Personal access to the internet is of utmost importance if one takes it seriously. But challenges still ambush women and how women at the local level can access internet.
When I myself am on the ground, I go two weeks without connecting because connecting costs 3 times more than in town. The purchasing power of women at the local level is low and this doesn’t allow them access to the internet. To overcome this situation we think and propose forming a training center in the rural workplace. If it becomes operational, it will help poor women to come into contact with their sisters around the world and they can sell their agricultural productions.
