LOGICALLY-KNOWLEDGE IS NOT POWER

Growing up, I came to realize that knowledge is NOT power. Knowledge is a separate phenomena from power. They are related only indirectly.

I know a lot of persons will disagree due to the fact that, we are use to the slogan: *"knowledge is power"*. Hmm! This is indeed the half truth behind this slogan.

If knowledge is power, why are learned persons not  all that powerful? It is sad to say, knowledge is not power.

A wise man defines knowledge as: the accumulation of information about the world that allows you to understand, see, and predict things that other people miss.

Power on the other hand is, the consolidation of control over resources, including other people.

My own definition of knowledge is: the ability to know, in order to give you an edge.

Power is the ability to influence and work well with people to achieve a common goal.

The only way knowledge becomes power is when there is an action. Knowledge + Action = Power.

Being knowledgeable doesn't mean You are powerful, it only means you have gained "word experience".

Having control over things and people, doesn't mean you have gained knowledge. The only thing that will make such knowledge known, is when action has taken its full cause.

For You to be complete, you need knowledge to have access to power, and power to achieve your dreams and aspirations. The middle man to help this come into reality is 'action'.

Action brings out the knowledge in You, which enables You to gain access to power.

Just as believer's consider faith without work as being dead, same applies to knowledge and power. But in this phrase: "knowledge and power without action is dead.

Unless You put to work the knowledge You have acquired consistently and massively, You cannot gain power.
