Marking My Birthday.🎉🎉🎉

So my birthday was on 7th of February.

It started out as a day like any other.

My husband travelled and I had a cold plus a deadline to meet up with.

Then I went to the church's midweek service reluctantly cause I was still down. As soon as the grace was shared , the service leader announced that all should sit back and booooom.... they began to sing " Happy birthday to you"...and then I realized my husband has planned to surprise me even though he was not around. He made arrangements without me getting even a hint. And I almost didn't go for my own birthday party.😂

My six year old asked me to leave my room and not enter until after an hour.

When I did, my dresser was nearly arranged! My bed well made and covered with confetti. She wrote a note saying I love you. I was moved to tears.

Three days later, two girls who are part of the Self Esteem mentoring class I run for girls, shyly dropped two letters in my hands and wished me a happy birthday.

I got home before reading. These are the little things that beautified my day.

Birthdays are once in a year, but the kindness and love we get is enough to carry us for all year.

Sending love to all February babies.

May your days be filled with serendipity.
