Stating the Problem while pitching Neuroticure in BIC PAFIAST
Did you know that! One in five adults experiences a mental health issue each year, yet nearly
two-thirds do not seek help due to stigma?
Growing up in a beautiful yet conservative town, I witnessed firsthand how this stigma surrounding mental health manifests in silence. Conversations about emotions were often whispered, and seeking help was seen as a weakness.
This societal taboo ignited my passion for change during my Biomedical Sciences studies, where I uncovered the alarming reality that millions suffer in silence. Motivated by my desire to be a voice for the voiceless, I founded Neuroticure, a startup dedicated to breaking down barriers to mental health care. My mission is clear: to provide accessible resources and support for those struggling, especially in communities where discussing mental health is taboo.
Despite skepticism, I am developing a mobile app that will help users identify mental health conditions and seek therapeutic support. Each feature is designed with empathy, focusing on the needs of individuals who often feel isolated.
As I work tirelessly on the early stages of launching Neuroticure, I aim to organize workshops, share stories of resilience, and invite professionals to highlight the importance of mental health. Slowly, my efforts are creating a ripple effect, encouraging people to share their experiences and dissolve the stigma.
I am determined to boost Neuroticure and transform it into a movement where mental health is prioritized, not stigmatized. With each step I take, I am breaking the silence and igniting a movement.
