Mentors and Midwives, Orientation Calls and a Few Other Things

Dear Mentors and Midwives~

I have had a few questions regarding the relationship between you, and I wanted to address that here on the PW group. You do not have a formal mandate to connect with each other, but I do think that many of you may benefit from doing so, and even find some new and amazing women to add to your circle. So, where you take the introduction I sent to you three (Correspondent, Mentor, Midwife) is really quite up to you.

Some of your Correspondents may also be asking you if you are joining the orientation calls next week. These calls are for the correspondents only. As much as we would love to have all of you on the phone at once....90 people on one or two calls is a bit much!

Just a quick reminder on your time commitment as a mentor and midwife:

  1. Both Mentors and Midwives have committed to a once weekly check in with your Correspondents

  2. Midwives have also committed to reviewing assignment drafts

  3. Mentors have also committed to 3 longer, formal mentoring sessions during the program (suggested dates are listed on your detailed calendar)

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Rachael
