Missed our Encourager Party in September? Here's a Round Up!

On September 12, we had our Encourager Party - an hour filled with live encouragement that brings the best of humanity on World Pulse’s comment section. We started with a brief introduction to the Encouragers program, followed by a fireside chat with two featured community members - the wise Basudha Modak and the creative J Brenda Lanyero. They spoke about their journeys as encouragers and shared fond memories from their journey of both giving and receiving encouragement, what encouraging means to them and how it has become a daily practice in their lives. Basudha shared some of the most beautiful moments she shared with Sherna, Chinyere, Dawn, and Manasa, and Brenda brought stories from her bonds with Karen, Tam, and Jill. We then went into party-time, listening to soothing music while leaving encouraging comments for our World Pulse storytellers and ended the call in smaller groups in breakout rooms.
