Today August 19th is marked as World Humanitarian day.
Being a humanitarian myself, i have come to discover it is not a tea party because, it is a selfless service carried out despite the person's financial status.
Most times, people think to be a humanitarian means having so much money, affluence to give out. Being a humanitarian goes beyond monetary possession and donating them to the needy.
Humanitarian services could be tiring at times because, it's a sacrifice made by those who have chosen this part to make lives better for others. Most humanitarians do what they do out of love, compassion for humanity not because, they have too much wealth and resources.
So when next you meet a humanitarian at work, appreciate him/her for helping others selflessly and doing it happily too. 📍✊
