Mothers: The incredible blocks of life on earth

story
O’ Mother you carried us in the womb for 270+ days, breast fed us for 720 days, nurtured us till we were able to stand on our feet and took our first move, watched us grow, never left us alone but stood beside us in case we fall or need someone to lean on.
O Mother you were the best teacher I ever had and gave me the best lessons ever. Even when was echoes in the country and people were dying you never let us know what was going on our sides but kept us busy writing and revising our lessons to keep us busy instead of thinking what was going on outside. Mom you taught us how to respect others, be kind to the vulnerable ones, and help the misfortunate and elderly ones. Same goes with my dad who always took care of us and never discriminated boys from girls, always stood beside us.
In some societies who doesn’t value the girl birth mothers face their in some societies where girl birth is not so appreciated, mothers who give birth to many daughters always face mistreated or even unwelcomed mostly. But do the mothers feel ashamed to themselves for giving birth to baby girls? Nah! They don’t, the moment they hold in their arms they see a bright life ahead their kids, treated them like princess and brought them to the best way of life and made them the incredible women they are.
Islam orders us to respect our beloved parents, take care of them if they become old and never say bad things about/ towards them. Because of the hardship mothers bear from the moment they carry us in the womb till we come to this world and all the way long, the beloved prophet Mohamed Peace Be Upon Him said: “paradise is under mother’s feet”! Also the prophet (PBUH) said: “Mother’s rights are three times (3X) that of a father”..… But it’s not widely practiced within the community.
Usually mothers bear hardship in their lives, bringing their kids, taking care of them, some of them working hard to feed their kids….. But little they get appreciated for what they do and the wonderful things they perform for their kids and families as a whole.
O’ Mother without you…
Indeed this world …
Would have been dark…
Light wouldn’t have been found...
O' the one who has been trusted with my soul…
Day and night…
In your womb O’ mother
The God who created me…
In between the ribs and belly
Between the abdomen and womb
And made comfortable home….
While you are in this world…
I wish you happy and prosperous life…
And hereafter…. In the heavens
Near the angels and prophets
From God I pray that for you …..
Mom I treasure you all the time.
God bless our mothers wherever they are.
