"Multi-service support to elderly persons, widows, widowers, IDPs, PLWDS



The project has as goal to relieve mental and psychological trauma of many persons who have been affected by the ongoing crisis in the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon. Due to the crisis, many families have been dispersed some are living where they don’t have any family around, some elderly persons have been abandoned, some living with disabilities and some have lost their wives/ husbands and are struggling to take care of their families alone.

This project is also to help bring stability of mindset and reduce transmission of grievances or prolonged mental disorder. Considering the severity of damage caused, the project will also restore and empower female-headed households economically with a source of livelihood increase their ability to access basic necessities. In addition, the project is intended to build extend solidarity to survivors, provide support to elderly persons, widows, widowers, IDPs, persons living with disabilities in crisis affected communities in Fako. This project is to be carried out for a month from the 27th of February to 23 of March
