My experience

This will be kind of a confession but I also hope that those who read it can relate as well.

I have never regretted my decision of becoming a social worker, infact that might just be the best adult decision I have ever made but nothing could have prepared me for how lonely it was about to get.

In networking events or at work, I feel like my lack of experience pushes me back by 10 steps, the children are behaving like that, let me consult my notes...okay this is not helping much. Will I ever become a good social worker, will I ever know what I'm doing? Working as the sole social worker in the organisation does not help much.

Thank you for reading and hope that helps you as much as it did for me.

Xoxo,

H
