The session was well presented right from the introduction were there was a sign language translator just on the upper corner doing her thing and when the moderators gave the out going CEO opening ceremony speech the best part of it that really means the world to me I was there to see and listen to the out going CEO sharing her motivations ,her highlight's, her ups and downs during her time as the CEO of world pulse I hugged her virtually because she touched me with her kind words of professional leadership I always admired the out going CEO I'm lucky I enjoyed her brief moment as the CEO OF world pulse from the day I joined before she shifted power to our amazing new CEO '@lourde rivers . I really paid attention at her nuggets' of wisdom speech literally I was smiling alone I'm looking forward to enjoying your new leadership here in our social network platform the world pulse. to my new CEO I wrote you a welcoming letter on one of my stories I hope you read it .as the town hall session was on going and the moderator welcome the mighty (six ) this really gave me reasons to continue giving back to my community, to continue being a leader and change maker no matter what , this was an opportunity for the six storyteller's to share their highlight's for me it was a life time opportunity imagine given an opportunity from over 80,000 world pulse members from over 233 countries the six best were chosen to speak . I had my diary with me I keenly listen to each one share their stories ,the story of Beatrice from UGANDA having to live with HIV stigma is not easy and you coming out to share your breakthrough is courage that few people can do and you did it so well I'm so proud of you. the story of surviving GBV waking away from an abusive marriage that saved your life and the life of your child I could picture it while you were talking about it the 3rd story of a woman with sickle cell anemia she touched me in a special way I have lost friends to that monster for her to come out and talk about it with courage. those 3 stories were my highlights they gave me something to think about . at one time moderators remembered those who passed on but were great contributors of this amazing new work they shared candles together and a burning flame for the fallen hero's, they went ahead to share their names on the screen that was really amazing it made me cry I believe their souls are happy and at peace in heaven gates . there was this session about sharing quotes from members and I was privileged because I will be marking first year in world pulse in (November11) a lot have changed in me ever since I joined it because the way I do stuff is quite professional but my moment was stolen from me just when I was about to read my quote Kenya power decided to switch off the power .I felt so bad because I had asked my friends to join the town hall meeting so they can hear me read my winning quote . the best part of it my quote was read by someone thank you so very I wish I knew who she was..!!? the last part was about those who support the world in one way and another , they shared names those give donations , in different kind and forms , sharing the page , encouraging new members , supporting world pulse projects . then the closing part of it came along where every world pulse leader was giving vote of thanks to everyone . I was so happy to see everyone ,I was so hooked on my screen , listening to those beautiful testimony , hard work, breakthrough I learn a lot , from all the history you guys shared during town hall I was taking munities' on my side its a 4 page written minutes that was amazing because I have world pulse history in my diary at a comfort of my desk , through listening and writing down how this network started and what it has taken you guys to see it be the net work it is right now .personally I can now recite the history of world pulse as a poem , we thank the digital world the world pulse has connected women from all over the world to motivate them , to support their voiceless ideas , to help them get the help they need . I'm a big beneficiary of world pulse my 11 month of being here I can say that it has open many doors , it has made me travel and meet so many amazing big names that I only read in magazines . world pulse have made me brush shoulders with people who value entitlement as I mark my first anniversary! while the website marks its 20th my pledge is to continue mentioning the name world pulse to any women group event I will be attending , to any girls school I will be a guest speaker in to my community forums and gathering this is a safe home every women need to air their voice no matter what they look like . the town hall showed me the neutral color of world pulse its for every young girl and woman and as an active member I will never stop talking to people about world pulse and how it has changed lives of over 80,000 women from 233 countries around the world . the town hall was an eye opener to me and others who had an opportunity to register, attend and listen to what change makers look like , what storyteller look like and what encouragers look like they live among us
