My Journey of Self Discovery

What WorldPulse Means to Me.

For years, I had doubted who I was. I always felt uncomfortable about the way I thought about my place in society. WorldPulse changed all that for me. I found a space to express myself without fear of judgment. As I began to write in my blog those things I found difficult to express to those around me, I started to find myself as a person. I began to understand that it was okay to be different, to think freely as an individual. WorldPulse has become that place where I can be myself, no matter what.

What Brought Me to WorldPulse

In 2009, I saw an article on the internet calling for women to apply to be correspondents for the VOF program on WorldPulse. That was how I became a member. I was not chosen as a correspondent, but I enjoy my blog and I have, since then, encouraged some of my Cameroonian sisters to join.

I have had the chance to meet great women from all over the world. I have come to understand that despite our colour, our different cultural backgrounds and the distance between us, we have much more in common than we have as differences.
