My Learning Disability is my Super Power: I am a Titan

This story is dedicated to Alexander or Bobo as he is called. Bobo is 9 years and has been Bullied most of his life. He has been Bullied by his teachers, his mates, his friends, his seniors even his father. He was bullied by those who were supposed to protect him, all because he suffers from ADHD. His mother was his only solace. Bobo had been betrayed by society and he had the scars to prove it. He was tagged a dullard or olodo as it is called here in Nigeria. He was called a fool, a disappointment, he was called an imbecile, a block head. He was punished, beaten, punished and sometimes locked up and starved by his father. His mum fought for him told him that he was a super hero. And brought him to Kode-E. He was withdrawn, depressed and was planning his suicide. Then he saw the light at the end of the tunnel. He became part of the Titans. He came to my home everyday for meetings and robotics classes. Today he believes he is a force of nature. He is finally in grade 1. And he is a Kode-E Ambassador. He still has difficulties with school but he knows he will triumph. He says that his ADHD is his super power. Because it makes him different. Solid like earth, dependable like earth but dangerous and resilient. He is the Titan of Earth.
