My nomination: Ambassador

My third nomination for the Ambassador category is the amazing Bharti Singh Chauhan.

Bharti is an incredible woman and brings love, light, and empowerment to so many women around her. She has lit candles of empowerment through her work at the grassroots, and does not shy away from taking difficult steps to make change happen. She has single-handedly facilitated powerful journeys of lasting, sustainable, and meaningful change. Bharti has built the future through her efforts.

I got to know about Bharti’s work on ground through World Pulse. To me, she is an excellent example and ambassador of World Pulse’s work on ground here in India. Through her generous work and incredible support for the communities she engages with, Bharti creates avenues for meaningful engagement in every community. And the best part in all of this is how she invests in paying forward: take a look at any of her posts and you will find her sharing, caring, and openly building ways for any reader to amplify her work by learning from it.

In my time engaging with Bharti and learning from her work, I have understood that she is a true World Pulse woman. She speaks out for everything she believes in, listens with heart and empathy, and without any judgment. She seeks personal, community, and socio-political transformation, she is a powerful connector, uses technology immensely, and is incredibly passionate about making a difference.
