My Reminder, My Unseen

My Reminder, My Unseen

Learning, unlearning, relearning

Concepts I had to embrace while growing,

For life does not hand us clarity,

But moments that force us to question, to break, to heal.

There was a time I was numb, invisible

A shadow of my own existence,

A survivor of wounds unseen, unheard,

Where success and failure blurred,

Where time held no meaning,

Because pain had swallowed everything I had known.

Yet, in the silence, a whisper came:

"You are not alone".

And so, I searched

For voices like mine, for hands that could hold,

For spaces where brokenness was not shame,

But the foundation of resilience.

In those connection circles I found power,

In a social impact network, I found belonging.

Stories intertwined, pain became purpose,

Suffering turned into strength,

As we unlearned silence and learned to speak.

And as I listened, I knew:

My story was not the worst, nor the last,

But it was mine to share, to uplift,

To accelerate action, to break bias, to rewrite narratives.

So, to you who feel unseen, unheard

Know this: your presence is a revolution.

Your survival is an act of defiance.

Your healing is the resistance.

Find your circle, speak your truth,

And watch the world shift.

On this International Women’s Day 2025,

We answer the call to 'Accelerate Action'

To recognize the strategies, resources, and impacts,

That break barriers and uplift women’s voices.

Though challenges remain, progress is within reach,

If we support, elevate, and implement change.

We are not just witnesses to history;

We are its architects, its builders, its change-makers,

painting the future on the canvas of progress.

Step forward, take action, stand for others,

For alone we endure, but together, we rise.
