My story

Hello my name is Nelly. I am a Burundian who lives in Kenya. Since I was a child , I was a girl of big dreams who's passionate in helping others. I always dreamed to become a doctor since I saw how people are treated in hospitals. I needed to offer kindness while treating them. I got married at 20 , after finishing my college and got my diploma in social assistance. I didn't know getting married was the bad decision I have ever made. I found myself in hands of a narcissist partner ,abuse, excess control ,domestic violence are my daily life. I tried to divorce several times but my parents told me that I was not welcome in their home. I have a child who is sick since 2022 I couldn't work anymore. Now I am here in deep depression, in a foreign country, with kids without knowing what to do. I know alot of women go through the same situation which cause them to suicide themselves or got killed by their spouses because the society doesn't want to rescue them or help them. Hear me out ,I am not weak , I am very strong, my kid's ife and my freedom can't be compared. I know she will be healed and I can work and quit this toxic marriage I am now. I will help women in this kind of situation because I know what it look like crying, praying alone without anyone to rescue . Dear women, let us come together create some websites, associations to help women going through hell without anyone to help them. Some of them choose to end their lives because of pain that is unbearable 💔 😢 ☹️ we should do something. I invite everyone to think about this. We can change this world to become a better place . I may fail to fulfil this dream or die before fulfilling it please do something about it. When I got myself out of this situation, I will do it but I need other hands to help thank you.
