My story

"«Peace is not enough». Women's participation and gender empowerment in peacebuilding processes. The case of Liberia" is the title of my MD thesis, a topic I chose after having asked myself where were the women in peace table.

It's based on an empirical research, during which I could interview prominent Liberian peace activists and peacebuilders. Their words and this research experience inspired me and show the direction I wanted to take for my future: to become a peace researcher.

I started to take training course and educate myself about peace and security, research methods and WPS agenda. I opened a research-based educational blog on Resolution 1325 to promote women's participation in peacebuilding in Italy called "Not A Traditional War Story", but also to gain experience and express myself.

I'm working on other projects that I'd like to propose for publication. Meanwhile I'm searching for other platforms and working opportunities which could welcome my insights.

Here is my research portfolio where is included a drive containing some published essays and papers I wrote during university ⤵️
