My Voice, My Power: Why I Speak Out

My name is Patience Mwewa Mambwe, and I believe that every voice carries the power to spark change. I was born and raised in Zambia, where I’ve seen the silence that surrounds issues like mental health, gender-based violence, and child marriage. But I also know that silence can be broken—and that healing begins when we speak.

As a Mass Communicator, advocate, and social entrepreneur, I use my voice to amplify the stories that matter. I founded Thrive Empowerment Organization to create safe spaces where women and girls can be heard, supported, and empowered. I also lead Revive Media Marketing Agency, where I help brands with a purpose connect with their audience through powerful storytelling.

But more than titles or roles, I am a young African woman who refuses to sit back while injustice thrives. I speak because I know what it’s like to feel invisible. I speak for those who can’t. I speak because I believe that change is possible—and that it starts with us.

Joining World Pulse is a step toward connecting with other bold, brilliant women who are using their voices for good. Together, I believe we can rewrite the narrative.

This is my beginning here—and I’m so ready to rise with you all.
