Nkhopotseng Afrika Foundation

Nkhopotseng means REMIND ME. It is an African name. Nkhopotseng Afrika Foundation is a foundation that is mainly for empowering women and young females.

OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES ARE:

     *Poverty eradication.

• To improve the state of the natural environment through women initiatives groups, the welfare of the disadvantaged and also representing a corporate agenda.


• To work for the social development of underprivileged women in African continent.


• To encourage healthcare development and health promotion.


• To assist in the process of social integration and personal realization of underprivileged children, female youth as well as the rights of underprivileged groups and communities.


• To encourage and popularize voluntary work.


• Women empowerment.


• A voice for women.


• Supporting women in difficult social and economic situations.


• Work with women and female youth to secure meaningful youth participation.

• OUR SECONDARY OBJECTIVES ARE:

• To work with government in improving and empowering women and female youth.


• To work with government and other stakeholders in bringing to pass the intentions of improving citizens’ livelihoods.

Nkhopotseng Afrika Foundation is intenting to operate in all African countries. I will give a brief explanation using my country that I know very well.

South Africa has 9 provinces and each province is divided into regions and each region has subregions. For example, Pretoria has about 7 subregions. From each subregion there will be one representative. So in Pretoria region of 7 subregions, will have 7 representatives and they will be liaising with the Country Representative in Head Office which is based in Pretoria, South Africa.  

In these 54 African countries, there will be 54 Country Representatives based in Head Office, Pretoria South Africa . Each Country Representative will liaise with Subregional Representatives of their own respective countries. 

We are in a process of establishing Food Banks and Widow Support in South Africa and Lesotho. 

We therefore call women and youth females to come forth and join this organization.
