Nomination for Spirit Awards - Anna Isabel Parguay

Many a times we tend to take for granted people that do things for us because they have been doing these things for a long time and consistently. We even feel entitled or feel like these things are a part of us such that these efforts go unappreciated.

I was thinking today and I even went to cross check the name of this sister. Every time I go to the "Resources" button I constantly see offers and opportunities that she would have posted. We can all agree that she has posted a lot of resources for women's rights advancement. I may not be sure if any of us has tried and actually applied and gotten any grants but what I'm sure of is she is intentional about pointing us to the resources and after that the ball is in our court to utilize these opportunity. I love how she even gives pointers on how to prepare for the fundraising, how to approach it and tips on how to be successful. I feel that sometimes these efforts go unnoticed and un appreciated.

With this post, I just want to say to Anna, well done, thank you and you're a gem. Through your posts you raise my spirit. You uplift us in so many ways, I for once, by just scrolling through your posts are encouraged to apply for more grants for my work, although I have not succeeded in any of my application, the way you keep posting as encourages me to keep applying.
