Obama's grandmum or good-time mum?

why i acknowledge the efforts of Obama's grandmum according to the info supplied by Mama Africa. I am not overtly impressed. I am not comfortable with Obama's Kenyan roots. For the simple reason that the father abandoned him for a long while. If anybody should benefit from Obama's success, it should be people that helped him when he was growing up like his maternal relatives. His mum was there for him and it is so sad that she did not see him become the American president. Some African men do a good job of abandoning their children and when the children turn out well, they want to take alll the credit.Sade Adu the Nigerian-British musician who lost her Nigerian father as a toddler rejected the overtures of her paternal relatives when they wanted to ' honour' her in Nigeria (wonder why they did not do so at the time they were mean to her mum when her father died)

Obama is pathetic for always extolling the virtues of his departed father. He should see him for what he was; an opportunist.
