OCTOBER 18TH - WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY

October 18th is World Menopause Day, and this year’s theme *“Menopause: A Time for Lifestyle Medicine”* couldn’t be more timely.

Menopause is a natural phase of life, but for many women, it comes with symptoms that affect sleep, mood, relationships, and work. I have learned that lifestyle choices what we eat, how we move, rest, and manage stress play a huge role in how we experience this transition. Small, consistent habits can make a big difference in how we feel day to day.

Over the past year, I have had the privilege of sharing this message through speaking engagements, podcasts, and live sessions, all focused on helping women navigate menopause with confidence and practical support. I also released my ebook, *“Menopause: What to Say When You Don’t Know What to Say,”* to help people have open, compassionate conversations about menopause at home, at work, and in the community.

I attended the Menopaus’ull event in Hull and the Whitworth Gallery’s in Manchester for Menopause Day, both powerful experiences that reinforced how important it is to keep talking, learning, and supporting one another. Each story I heard reminded me that menopause awareness isn’t just about managing symptoms; it’s about empowerment, healthy living, and understanding that we are not alone in this journey.

As we mark World Menopause Day 2025, let’s continue to create spaces where women feel seen, supported, and informed. Together, we can make menopause a chapter of strength, not silence. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
