Otun Food Bank in my town

About Three years ago we started a food bank for women only in our Ibasa Centre in Lagos state.

It is a partnership between my Sister Julie Zenterra, I met her in Worldpulse office five years ago and we became sisters.

Our food bank open on Sundays alone except during emergencies. We opened daily during the Lockdown in Nigeria.

January 2021 I decided to start working in Owo Ondo State Nigeria.  Owo is my birthplace.  The level of poverty among the poor women is disheartening.

So when I got to Owo and discussed with my sister Julia.  She agreed and we started in March.  We had to concentrate on very old women due to the high number of women in need. So far we have delivered foodstuffs to close to one hundred women in Owo.

I am so grateful to God Almighty that we can help so many women.
