About Me:
Klaudia González – Director for International Affairs and the Director of the Citizen’s National Observatory on Public Policies for Prevention of Disabilities in Children. Ms. Gonzalez recently obtained a Master Degree in Public Administration at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. She also holds an MA in International Relations from the Central European University (CEU) in Hungary, famous for its high competitiveness and commitment to democracy and human rights, and a BA in International Relations from the University of the Americas- Puebla. She has received several awards such as the CEU’s Heroe Award in 2011, the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affais Award in 2010, etc. She also has ample experience in the Mexican academia, both in the public and private sectors. From 2004 to 2008, She was Dean of Social Sciences and Head of the School of International Relations at the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP). She has been the youngest Dean in the history of UPAEP. She also taught at the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP) and the Benemeritus University of Puebla State (BUAP) and several others. Regarding her international experience, she has worked in the United Nations Foundation (UNF) and Model United Nations International (MUNI) in Washington DC. The Consulate General of Mexico in New York City. She was also the National Coordinator for the Social and Labor Inclusion for People with Disabilities Project under the Trust for the Americas, Organization of American States in 2012.
