Overcoming my fears

A whole lot happened in the Year 2020 with the presence of Covid-19 pandemic. I had worked in a ngo for almost 10years now. As an Accountant, I have also work closely with many of these differently abled children living with special needs by offering vocational training and personal grooming which gives me joy but I felt the need to move on at some point but my fear held me captive.

I could feel the yearning from within me asking for something more but my fear wouldn’t let me. I was getting to the state of depression, nobody seem so understand me. I was always online researching to see the way the world is evolving. Then Jan 2021, I thought to myself I needed a break, so I took a 2weeks life transforming trip out of my state. Visited friends, family, places and by the time I returned I feel rejuvenated so full of energy and positive vibes. That was when I got the puzzle sorted; I want to travel, explore the world and also help many people in such situation around me and in the society at large get rejuvenated again by introducing travels and tours on a budget and through sponsorship program.

We got our company registered before the pandemic and I’m so certain this is the best time to launch out. I’m never going to allow any fear or the reality of today stop me!

That’s my vision and mission of hope to make the world a better place. I am pursuing this right now and am super excited about it.

Thou it sounds so foolish to travel now in this pandemic, but depression is more deadly. Research and personal survey reveals that the world is ready to run with my vision only when I believe in me. Let’s continue observing the covid19 safety guidelines, stay safe!

Let nothing stop your dreams because many lives fulfillment depends on it. I am encouraging every woman out there to take that bold step today.

Sending lots of love from Abuja, Nigeria.

Adeola Samuel.
